A Christmas Story

Yes, I know that this isn't exactly yesterday! But I enjoy Christmas pageants so much! Angel Allie, some kind of friendly animal Zyon, Mary (Katie), Joseph (Burton), and Donkey Irelynn help to tell the story of the birth of Jesus (left). On the right, they are joind by Zach and Alec.

Deer Hunting

So, here's five minutes in my life. I look out my home office window and here is a beautiful doe, just grazing in Joe's field. I go look for my camera. The doe is standing perfectly still, great shot (camera shot, that is). I turn on the camera -- batteries are dead. Take dead batteries, put them in battery charger (after Fred directs me to where it is and how to put the batteries in). Find some non-rechargables in a drawer, again have Fred show me how to inert the new batteries in the camera. Come back to the window ... by now said deer has mosied on off to other Joe's field and out of sight. So ... long story short? No photo

Just Starting Out

Okay, y'all talked me into trying this. After a week in central Iowa (at least I think it was central, that's the name of the college) I'm happy to be back home in upstate New York. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to post pictures of my gardens growing ... it has been commented that it no longer looks like I have a pet cemetery alongside my driveway!
